Yeah, it came with ONE recipe. Even following the recipe, unless you know how the dough should be, you will not get the satisfactory result. I had to turn myself into a decent bread-maker to finally succeed with a pretty good bread. I do think it is nice to be able to make bread as well as cooking good rice. Once you learn how to make dough, it is amazing that you can cut down the rest of the bread making process from four and a half hours to mere ninety minutes. However, people should know the dough has to be perfect and should not naively think that casually throwing the ingredients together will produce a bread. before buying this, I was using an American brand rice cooker (the most terrible experience ever). This one is great! Cooking rice in the way I want! The only thing is that there is too much steam left on the lid once the rice is done.
